The Danish Audit Bureau of Circulations, ABC, was founded in 1930. The Danish Audit Bureau of Circulations monitors, audits and verifies circulation figures and similar data for the advertising media on the Danish market.
Today the Danish Audit Bureau of Circulations has been discontinued and all activities transferred to Danske Mediers Oplagskontrol - Danish Media Audit of Circulations.
Relevant and trustworthy information about media is of great value to advertisers, advertising agencies and to media themselves and for a number of media titles the audit of circulation is still of importance and the task continued at the DMO.
The Danish ABC conducts audited semi annual circulation reports and circulations development reports published for dailies, magazines and business papers. Annual audit reports are published for free distributed papers and other media. Auditing is conducted by external auditors.
